How to attend the virtual event
1. Follow this link to access the OUTSIDE Collab 2022 on your computer (see below if you plan to access it via a mobile device).
2. If you already have an account with Whova using the same email address you registered with, enter your login information. If you do not already have an account, click, "Don't have an account? Sign up here."
3. When creating your account, you must use the same email address you used when originally registering for the conference. You will enter in your name, email address, and password.
4. To access the live-stream, click "Agenda".
5. Click "View session".
6. Enjoy the live-stream!
7. You can use the chat feature on the right side bar to ask any questions during the live event and to continue the conversation with other attendees.
NOTE: You can also access OUTSIDE on a mobile device by downloading the Whova application: iPhone or Android.
How to attend in person events
Day 1, October 13th
Meet @ 11:15 AM at The Wave Hotel
6100 Wave Hotel Dr, Orlando, FL 32827
Park in the parking garage at The Wave (parking is complimentary) and make your way to the front of the hotel where you will see an OUTSIDE Collab table to check-in and register. The buses will leave promptly at 11:45 AM to head to the UF Research Center but please allow at least 30 minutes to register.
You will be dropped off at The Wave Hotel after the workshop around 5:00 PM.
Day 2, October 14th
Meet @ 7:25 AM at The Wave Hotel

We will meet at The Wave Hotel again for parking on day 2. The buses will leave promptly at 7:40 AM. We recommend you take State Road 417 and avoid Narcoossee Road for traffic. Please remember to bring your badge from check in on day 1.
We will first visit Sunbridge for a morning of tours. The next stop will be the UF Lake Nona Research Center for lunch and the collaboration. Afterwards you will be dropped back off at The Wave Hotel where we will host our after hours event. Set on 50k square feet of picturesque landscapes, this outdoor art gallery features a world-class collection of sculptures. This is included with your admission to OUTSIDE Collab.
Know Before You Arrive
Arrival Time
Please account for traffic in Lake Nona on both days. It is very important you are on time. If you are late for either day, please call (352) 429 - 0005.
What to Bring
Please bring a refillable water bottle, and if you would like a hat. Refill stations will be available at each stop along the tour.
What to Wear
Please wear closed-toe shoes that are comfortable to walk in for different terrains (sand, grass, mud, etc.).
Transportation
Attendees will travel between The Wave Hotel, Sunbridge’s Base Camp & Model Homes, and the UF Research Center via coach buses. Due to limited parking availability, attendees are unable to drive themselves to each stop. Please do your best to be punctual by preparing to leave early to compensate for Lake Nona traffic which can be heavy.
After-Hours Event
Our after-hours event will take place at The Wave Hotel’s Sculpture Gardens. Your OUTSIDE admission includes 1 drink ticket and light horderves. There will be a cash bar available as well.
